12 of September 2013. The construction of the modern pharmaceutical logistics center in the Baltics has just been started. UAB NacionalineFarrnacijosGrube, a subsidiary of CEPD NV, is the investor of the project.
The center will be constructed in the vicinity of Kaunas. The ceremony of laying of the foundation stone took place in mid-September this year. We believe this investment will improve security and quality of medicines delivery for pharmacies as well as for hospitals. Moreover, the new logistics center will provide better employment conditions for the company’s employees – said RoniDrori, the president of CEPD NV.
The project realized by UAB NFG group is the biggest investment on the Lithuanian pharmaceutical market in the last five years. The logistics center will be equipped with a modern medicine distribution system that will shorten the orders’ realization.
The investment is also extremely crucial for UAB NFG group itself. When the construction is completed, the UAB NFG group will be able to move to a new registered office.

Moreover, Limedika which functions within the group, is the second largest Lithuanian entity focusing on the wholesale medicine sale (it controls over 20% of the market).
